GCash Deposit Problems

Paid through GCash but no credits? Most deposit problems have a simple cause. Follow the checks below in order.

Updated 8 October 2026 · Independent information, not the operator

A GCash deposit usually completes within a couple of minutes, but sometimes the status stays pending or the payment fails. This page explains the most common causes, how to check each one and what to send to support if you need help. If you are new to deposits, read how to cash in first.

Start here: check the status

Open Credits, then Transactions, then the Deposit tab. A finished deposit shows Completed. If you see Pending or nothing at all, continue with the checks below. Do not start several new deposits at the same time, because that makes the problem harder to trace.

Problem 1: The QR page still says Waiting for payment

This usually means the payment inside GCash was not finished. Open GCash and check your recent transactions. If the payment is not there, go back and pay again from a fresh QR code. If the payment is there and marked successful, wait for the processing time shown for that outlet, which was 1 to 2 minutes for EPLAY (via QR Ph) when we wrote this page.

Problem 2: GCash says the QR is invalid or expired

QR codes for a deposit are meant to be used once and for a short time. Never reuse an old screenshot. Return to Credits, choose the outlet again and scan the new code. If the code will not scan, use Download QR and choose it from your gallery inside GCash.

GCash stuck on "Processing" screen

Sometimes the deposit screen shows a spinning Processing... indicator and does not move to Completed or Failed. This usually means GCash and the outlet are still confirming the payment, not that something is broken.

  1. Do not close the app or refresh repeatedly. Let it sit for the processing time shown for your outlet (1 to 2 minutes for EPLAY via QR Ph).
  2. Check your GCash app's own transaction history. If GCash shows the payment as successful, the credits should follow once the platform finishes confirming it.
  3. If "Processing" is still showing after the full processing time, check Transactions in the sabong platform rather than retrying the payment.
  4. Only if it is still stuck after that, and you have not paid again, contact live chat support with a screenshot of the Processing screen and your GCash receipt.

Do not start a second payment while the first still says Processing. Paying twice makes it harder, not easier, to sort out.

Problem 3: The payment failed in GCash

  • Not enough balance. Add money to GCash first, and remember that fees or limits may apply.
  • Wallet limits. Your GCash limits depend on your account verification level. If you reach a limit, try a smaller amount.
  • Weak connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and try again.
  • GCash maintenance. Payment apps sometimes have short downtime. Wait a little and try again.

Problem 4: Paid, but credits are missing

  1. Wait for the full processing time for that outlet.
  2. Refresh the app and check Transactions again.
  3. Take a screenshot of your GCash receipt, including the reference number, the amount and the time.
  4. Contact live chat support and send the details listed below.

Problem 5: You paid twice

If you scanned the same QR twice or made two deposits, do not panic. Check Transactions to see how many were completed. Send both receipts to live chat and explain clearly which payment is extra. Do not try to fix it by paying again.

Problem 6: You paid a different amount

Always keep the amount exactly as shown on the QR page. A different amount can make the payment fail to match your deposit. Send your receipt to live chat and explain what happened.

What to send live chat

  • Your account number or registered email and your name.
  • The amount and the outlet you used.
  • The time of payment.
  • A screenshot of your GCash receipt with the reference number.
  • A screenshot of the Transactions screen.

Never do these

  • Never send money to a personal GCash number that a stranger gives you, even if they say it will fix your deposit.
  • Never share your GCash MPIN or OTP.
  • Never pay a fee to "release" your credits. Read how to spot fake sites.

Prevent deposit problems next time

Start with a small amount such as ₱100. Sign in to GCash before you open the QR. Keep your phone charged and connected. Do not close the QR page until the status changes. Keep receipts until the deposit shows Completed. If you plan to play, set your limit first with responsible gaming.

How long should you wait?

Use the processing time shown in the app as your guide. If that time has passed and the deposit is still not Completed, contact support with your receipt. Contacting them early with complete details is better than waiting many hours and sending a vague message.

Log in and check your deposit
Why is my GCash payment stuck on "Processing"?

This usually means GCash and the outlet are still confirming the payment. Wait for the processing time shown for your outlet before contacting support, and do not pay again in the meantime.

Why is my GCash deposit still pending?

The payment may not be finished in GCash, or the outlet may still be processing. Wait for the time shown, then contact live chat.

Can I reuse an old QR code?

No. Start a new deposit and scan the fresh code.

What if I paid twice?

Check Transactions and send both receipts to live chat. Do not pay again to fix it.

What should I send to support?

Your account number or email, name, amount, time and a screenshot of your GCash receipt.
